Melita the Saki Monkey was rescued from the pet trade and arrived at our centre in 2022. In 2024 she hit sexual maturity which resulted in a sharp change in her behaviour and a general dislike for our female volunteers! It is for this reason she’s currently in a cage and will be released when we have a suitable male mate!
