Together Forever

Titi Monkeys form devoted pairs and remain close at all times, which is rare in primates.

Their affection includes lots of time grooming each other, intertwining their tails, holding hands, huddling, nuzzling, lip smacking and cuddling.

Our Family

Living in family groups of 4 – 6, the pair will have one offspring per year, which leaves when it is sexually active.

The father is the chief caregiver, carrying the young on his back because he can be certain they are his. The mother uses her energy to produce milk.
