Setting the Stage

Welcome Talk

When visitors arrive, they are welcomed with an intro talk about the island, the history of our sanctuary, and the progress of our project. We share the grim realities of animal trafficking, and the reason we exist to rescue, rehabilitate and release monkeys – confiscated by authorities before being sold as pets, used in biomedical research, or killed for food or traditional medicine. This introduction provides important context about the challenges we face and the impact of our efforts.

Guidelines

For Responsible Interaction

To ensure the safety and well-being of both our monkeys and visitors, we have a strict no contact policy.

Monkeys may be curious and playful, but they are still wild animals in the process of rehabilitation. Respecting their boundaries is a crucial part of their recovery journey.
